چکیده
In the conditions of global climate change and invasion new diseases pests, utilisation local gene pool is a vital step towards sustainable agriculture. Local cultivars forms are generally considered as better adapted to originating region than widely spread commercial bred elsewhere. order collect, study, preserve old fruit vine forms, series expeditions have been conducted throughout Bulgaria under frame project KP-06-N46/3 funded by National Science Fund Bulgarian Ministry Education Science. During these scientific expeditions, several cherry were discovered without visual symptoms brown rot Monilinia laxa (Aderh. Ruhl.) Honey or leaf spot Blumeriella jaapii (Rehm) Arx. To confirm degree resistance/low susceptibility specimens, laboratory tests with artificial inoculations fruits leaves conducted. current two specimens found in Damyanovo (a village municipality Sevlievo, Gabrovo Province, northern central Bulgaria) included. They compared cultivars, ‘Volsko sartse’ ‘Ranna cherna edra’, selections FGI-Plovdiv, ‘Asparukh’ (El.17-90) ‘Kossara’, using ‘Bigarreau Burlat’ reference cultivar for resistance economically important diseases. The confirmed field observation specimen designation SM-58 0.00% infected fruits. Therefore, it recommended use breeding programme Fruit Growing Institute, Plovdiv creation cultivars.

Tools Towards Managing Mycorrhiza for Sustainable Agriculture
The arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi, in concert with other soil dwelling microorganisms such as the so-called “plant growth promoting rhizobacteria”, play a pivotal role for natural soil fertility and stability, hence, for sustainable crop production. Appropriate management of the AM fungal community is crucial, especially in the tropics where the cultivated soils are notoriously fragile and ...

The environmental impact of agriculture cannot be ignored. In many countries, as much as 70 per cent of the land area is in agricultural use. Over a third of the global agricultural land area is in high-intensity, continuous cropping systems that use high levels of agrochemicals and reshape land and waterways. The rest is under such a farming system that uses far fewer inputs, but requires rela...
